We deploy quality practices which we have developed over the last 40 years of manufacturing battery components to ensure we produce the highest quality of product in the industry.

Based on customer requirements, we can offer up to 100% quality inspected components using technologies such as vision inspection. Our customization approach allows us to modify or add extra inspection checks should our customers require them.

Our quality inspection equipment is specifically designed to handle high volume throughput, while ensuring careful product handling and 100% product traceability from raw material through to the delivery of the components to our customer.

Our quality process and controls are a global standard across all our sites so whether you receive our components from Asia, Europe or the U.S.A. you will receive the same quality standard of component.

Presses

We combine over 40 years of experience of manufacturing cylindrical battery cans and prismatic battery housings with sophisticated press equipment to provide the best solutions to our customers. In-house design and manufacturing services including multi-servo presses, cupping machines and redraw presses ensure we can meet the needs of our customers to the highest standard.

Our ability to design and build presses internally ensures we have full control of the design and manufacturing process of a component, ensuring our customers have an assurance of supply and optimized cost.

We can support our customers with the design and build of presses at all of our global locations ensuring our customers components are manufactured at a location that suits their specific needs.

Tool Design

Our experienced in-house tool engineers design and produce precision tools for every battery component we manufacture.

Our tool design workshop ensures we supply our customers with high precision, quality battery components throughout the products life-cycle. Our tooling engineers ensure our precision tools are maintained to the highest standard with tool wear and downtime of the presses minimized.

H&T Battery Components for Alkaline Batteries tool rooms are equipped with state of the art machinery including CNC grinding and wire EDM machines to manufacture complex 3D geometries made out of high performance materials such as carbide or ceramics.

With our internal press manufacturing and tool design capabilities we are able to provide our customers with an integrated production process from tool design, tooling, through to sample components up to high volume manufacturing.
