We combine over 40 years of experience of manufacturing cylindrical battery cans and prismatic battery housings with sophisticated press equipment to provide the best solutions to our customers. In-house design and manufacturing services including multi-servo presses, cupping machines and redraw presses ensure we can meet the needs of our customers to the highest standard.
Our ability to design and build presses internally ensures we have full control of the design and manufacturing process of a component, ensuring our customers have an assurance of supply and optimized cost.

Our experienced in-house tool engineers design and produce precision tools for every battery component we manufacture.
Our tool design workshop ensures we supply our customers with high precision, quality battery components throughout the products life-cycle. Our tooling engineers ensure our precision tools are maintained to the highest standard with tool wear and downtime of the presses minimized.
H&T Alkaline’s tool rooms are equipped with state of the art machinery including CNC grinding and wire EDM machines to manufacture complex 3D geometries made out of high performance materials such as carbide or ceramics.
With our internal press manufacturing and tool design capabilities we are able to provide our customers with an integrated production process from tool design, tooling, through to sample components up to high volume manufacturing.
